Caltech Astro
The California Institute of Technology (Caltech) is one of the premier scientific research institutions in the world, featuring researchers working on a variety of topics throughout the sciences. Since its founding over a century ago, Caltech has contributed to countless fundamental advances in humanity's understanding of the world around us. This channel features content from Caltech researchers working in astronomy, physics, and planetary science, with the aim of educating the public in the most recent advances and open questions remaining in these fields. We host a monthly public lecture series, featuring a 30-minute science presentation, followed by an expert Q&A panel. Additionally, monthly Astronomy on Tap consist of two 15-minute science talks, pub trivia, and a less formal atmosphere at a nearby bar. All details about our programs are available at: http://outreach.astro.caltech.edu . More advanced presentations can be found on our Caltech Astro Seminars channel.

Dictionary of Nomenclature of Celestial Objects
Designations of astronomical objects are often confusing. Astronomical designations (also called Object Identifiers) have been collected and published by Lortet and collaborators in Dictionaries of Nomenclature of Celestial Objects outside the solar system (Biblio). This Info service is the electronic look-up version of the Dictionary which is updated on a regular basis; it provides full references and usages about 25311 different acronyms.

Spahn´s Science Lectures
PSCI 1414 General Astronomy. All lectures for my General Astronomy course. We begin by taking a look at the history of astronomy and then look upward toward the heavens to discuss what we see from Earth. From there, we depart from the surface of Earth to explore our neighborhood - the Solar System - before beginning our journey to the stars and other celestial bodies far from home.
